CEC MEETINGS FOR MARCH 2012:
At BUSINESS MEETINGS (sometimes called "Working Meetings"), Council members discuss CEC internal business as well as upcoming issues, anticipated votes and future plans. These meetings are open for public observation, but the public is not allowed to speak or address the Council at Business Meetings. At CALENDAR MEETINGS, the Council listens to public comments and opinions, consults with constituency and community members, and casts votes on educational topics that concern the students of District 31 (Staten Island). These meetings are open to the public and anyone can request speaking time to address the Council on educational issues. THESE MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND ALL ARE WELCOME MEETING DATES & TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD ALWAYS CONFIRM BY CALLING THE CEC OFFICE @ 718-420-5746.
